I’m Already Enrolled in a Marketplace Plan, Do I need to do anything?
Yes! Even though you already have a marketplace health insurance plan for 2022, it is highly recommended that you confirm the renewal/enrollment during open enrollment 2023. If you do nothing, your current plan might renew for next year, but it’s possible for information to be outdated and the pricing not accurate. New subsidies have been extended through 2025 and it’s important to have your information review each year to make sure you aren’t paying more than you should be.
I Don’t Have a Marketplace Plan, Do I need to do anything?
If you don’t have a marketplace health insurance plan, or you don’t want one, then you don’t need to do anything during Open Enrollment 2023. Most health insurance policies outside of the marketplace use a 12 month term and you don’t need to do anything until your policy is getting close to the end of its term.
